Madagascar offers good possibilities for modern sportive fishing. On can sometimes practise bottom line, dragnet, rod and reel fishing lancer the same day, depending on the tides. Among the most interesting catches is the yellow tuna (April to May), the barracuda (between September and May with “peaks” in October and February), tuna, sea bream, swordfish.
